The Book Depository Review

If you ask me the one thing I never regret spending my money on, it would be books.

So, when my sister told me about Book Depository site and the free postage it offers, I didn't think twice. FREE DELIVERY WORLDWIDE including my country Malaysia! I was intrigued!

I find it very difficult most times to find website that offers shipping to Malaysia, let alone free delivery, so don't judge me for being OVERLY EXCITED about this! :D

Anyway, I spent 2 days browsing the website before I finally had the courage to place my order. Everything sounds too good to be true, and I don't fancy spending my hard earned money on cheating website!

So, here's the advantages of TBD based on my 2 days of 'browsing session':
1. Free delivery worldwide
2. No minimum purchase - delivery is always FREE regardless of the number of books you buy!
3. Books are not overly priced
4. The collections are HUGE! I could die of excitement lol

I decided to buy When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit by Judith Kerr as a trial, but after about 2 weeks, I still didn't hear a word from the post office guy that I decided to send them an email.

I asked them the whereabouts of my book only to be informed that they are not able to track it anywhere. So, they sent out a new one for me, no fuss at all!

However, I am still waiting for it to arrive, I'll keep you guys updated later :D

Book Review: Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L James

Finally I finished reading Fifty Shades of Grey; hmmm one of the most unexciting books I've ever read haaha. It took me 6 days to finish it, but hey, look at the bright side, I already finished reading 3 books in less than a month! This is a real achievement for me.

Before I proceed with my so-called 'review', I would like to inform you that I am not a professional reviewer. So, I apologized in advanced if I've made you leave my page feeling  utterly depressed with my writing. Haha..

To start off, I want to scream that...this book, is highly exaggerated. The plot is excruciatingly slow, you know, after hundreds of pages flipping, there's no development of characters happen. Too many 'love-making' activity; it almost give me the impression that the characters have nothing else to do other than throwing each other on bed. Oh well, this is an erotic book, what do I expect right? To add fuel to the fire-I hate, I hate, I hate Christian Grey. I found it really hard to tolerate his 'mental-illness' as he is cold, reserved and totally incapable of love I almost cry for Ana. But I did learn new thing from this book though; BDSM. Hahahahha...well, I've never seen it on screen before so yeah, we can assume that I've became a bit wiser after reading this book. LOLOLOL...

Anyway, as much as I hate Christian Grey and the writer's writing style, I am still gonna read the 2nd and 3rd book because I want to know what happen to Ana after the last event (not gonna spoil the fun!).  Anastasia, ergo innocent, she's not afraid to say what she really want in life and I think I can connect with her in so many ways. Except she doesn't like coffee, and prefer tea each time Christian asks her to stay for drinks.

Have you read Fifty Shades of Grey by EL james? Do you like it?

BookXcess

OH! Can't wait for those books to arrive...I've been peeking on their websites since the last 2 years, but only now I got the chance to buy from them. *X berani, takut postage mahal kunun* I’ve annoyed them with tons of emails, asking about the postage and this and that, but they never failed to reply me…The postage is quite cheap btw; they calculate them according to the books’ weight. Even though they put RM10 per book, the total price is still cheaper than those at the bookstore, believe me! *kalau kamu yakin sama Maths saya laa..hahaha*

Check out BookXcess now! p/s- fast service. I loikeee….:D Another "blogshop" hunting next....
